SSC CHSL 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For LDC/JSA and most DEO/DEO Grade A posts, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university by October 7, 2026.
For specified DEO/DEO Grade A posts in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Staff Selection Commission and Ministry of Culture, candidates must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
Candidates awaiting their Class 12 result may apply, but they must possess the required qualification by the cut-off date.
Nationality
An applicant must satisfy the citizenship or eligibility-certificate conditions stated in the official notice. Indian citizens and other eligible categories listed by SSC may apply subject to documentary requirements.
