Selection Procedure
The recruitment of SBI Specialist Cadre Officers involves a two-phase evaluation framework:
- Shortlisting: Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank determines shortlisting parameters to call an adequate ratio of candidates.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo an interview evaluation carrying 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are determined by the Bank.
- Merit List & CTC Negotiation: Merit ranking is prepared strictly based on the interview marks in descending order, followed by individual CTC negotiations as per industry benchmarks.
